glitter mani

Today I was inspired by Emily from Cupcakes and Cashmere and her DIY glitter mani. I decided to try it myself... and it turned out great for a first try! It was very simple. I started out painting all of my nails except both ring fingers. I used Sally Hansen- Commander in Chic. Then I applied an OPI top coat to my ring fingers and sprinkled extra fine gold glitter on top. To remove the excess glitter I tapped my hand and then used a q-tip to remove the rest. In the future I think that I will deff. be fine tuning some details to perfect this simple little project. Here it is...
